Training Session on Climatic Monitoring and Sensor-Based Data Collection
A training activity within the scope of the Safe-H2O-Farm project was successfully conducted on November 8, 2024, under the leadership of Dr. Cihan Karaca, with the participation of 32 attendees.
The session began with an introduction to the project and continued with a presentation on the climatic parameters relevant to the research activities. Particular focus was given to the meteorological station installed in the experimental greenhouse, where technical details of the integrated sensors were explained.
Participants were informed about how key environmental variables—such as temperature, humidity, solar radiation, and wind speed—are monitored and how these parameters relate to plant development. The session highlighted the role of sensor-based climate monitoring in supporting sustainable agricultural practices promoted by the project.
