Akdeniz University Faculty of Agriculture is seeking 2 (two) full-time technical staff/technicians to work within the EU-funded A_T_1.1_0461 PROTECHMED – “PROmoting innovative solutions for the TECHnological Transition of the MEDiterranean horticultural sector” project, supported under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme.
Job Description
The selected staff members will work within WP3 – Technical Activities and support the implementation of the pilot greenhouse activities in Antalya.
Main responsibilities include:
- Supporting the daily technical operation of the pilot greenhouse,
- Carrying out greenhouse cultivation and irrigation activities,
- Monitoring irrigation systems, sensors, meteorological measurement equipment and other technical systems,
- Conducting field measurements, observations and technical data collection,
- Supporting testing and monitoring activities related to the pilot implementation,
- Maintaining regular technical records,
- Performing other technical tasks assigned by the project team within the scope of WP3 activities.

- Employment period: 15 September 2026 – 15 May 2027
Previous experience in greenhouse production, irrigation systems, agricultural practices, technical measurements or fieldwork will be considered an advantage.
